The Casa Maria Soup Kitchen has been operating in South Tucson for 40 years. And, for 40 years St. Francis volunteers have been there one Saturday a month cooking and serving vegetarian chili to about 200 people. St. Francis needs immediate help in order to keep our long-standing commitment.
We need 3-5 people for a few hours one Saturday morning a month.
St. Francis is seeking a new volunteer coordinator for the Casa Maria program. This entails 6-10 hours a month shopping for supplies, as well as emailing and scheduling volunteers.
