Part-Time Facilities Department

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Part-Time Facilities Worker to assist with the upkeep, maintenance, and event support of our church facilities. This role is ideal for someone who takes initiative, enjoys hands-on work, and thrives in both independent and team-oriented settings. If you have a strong work ethic and a heart for serving the community, we encourage you to apply!

Hours

  • 20 Hours per week, days and times may vary depending on availability and needs.

  • Extra hours may be available for special events or as a substitute for other facilities staff.

Wage

  • $15.00 per hour

Responsibilities

  • Cleaning and maintaining church buildings, including janitorial duties such as mopping, vacuuming, and restroom upkeep.

  • Ensure all buildings are locked and secure after events or services.

  • Landscaping and maintenance around the church campus, including pruning and watering.

  • Assisting with rental events and event setup/takedown.

  • Performing repetitive lifting and moving of heavy objects, up to 50lbs.

  • Basic audio-visual operations.

Qualifications

  • Have good verbal and written communication.

  • Be able to maintain a calm, professional demeanor in various situations.

  • Be flexible, reliable, and able to follow directions while also working independently.

  • Be able to lift, push, and pull up to 50lbs.

  • Have reliable transportation.

  • Be able to work outdoors in various temperatures.

Accountability

  • Reports to the Facilities Coordinator.
